Replicate / Reinvent
Inspired by Irving Penn's iconic portrait of Picasso, this project explores replication and reinvention. Initially, I closely replicated Penn’s original photograph, paying careful attention to composition, lighting, and styling. Afterwards, I reinvented the portrait by introducing contemporary elements—using coloured lighting and modern aesthetics—to clearly reflect my own creative vision and visual identity.
